The officers walked out. Refused to attend.

This was about two years ago.

Yet another situation that supports my overall view of cops. Always open minded and willing to accept that they may have faults that need to be worked on.

Your overall view of cops? How many cops do you know? Or did you read about something in a biased publication about how a couple of cops refused to take a training class?

And a phony "training class" at that. Two of the three creators of the implicit bias test so popular today have said, in effect, "wait -- this isn't statistically significant and you are mis-using it"...

Funny how cops aren't supposed to stereotype people based on appearance or attitude, but "un-biased" progressives think all cops are bad because of the actions of a few.

When you say "a few,"do you mean the 100% of cops who perform bad acts or who do not take action against those who do?

Another "judging by the content of their character" failure that MLK dreamed of 50 years ago.

I've always been impressed with Chief Stawinski. He seemed to get in front of incidents involving his officers and be transparent to the public. His PIO's always seemed up to the job keeping the public informed. I wish him the best of luck and believe the DC area has lost it's best police chief.

Do you have any experience with racist cops in PG County? Just FYI- minority officers don't treat minorities any better than white officers.

And that is part of systemic racism.

Not PP but I went to law school with a PG County cop and he delighted I telling us about his part in racist incidents at Dematha High. And how the head of school or head priest would look the other way. And what exactly they did when they caught guys accused of assaulting police. Not a good guy. I know anecdote is not evidence, but it really turned my stomach.
