Me - yes, always park in the garage, even if I expect to go out again soon. We enter the house through the garage - so its a shorter walk to just park in the garage. DH never parks in the garage. I think our garage is big enough for both cars (its an extra long garage but a bit narrow with 2 doors). But DH doesn't seem to think its big enough for his SUV. We do use it for some storage -- kids outdoor toys, sporting goods, lawn equipment, outdoor holiday decor, and often bottled soda and water. We've got shelves or hooks for most things.

I always park in garage overnight. We have a freer and lawn mower in the back of garage and tools and bikes on wall hooks

Our previous house.... Even if I left and turned right around and came back for one thing, it was easy enough to pull into the garage jump out and run in through the garage entrance to the house. But Now, our 2-car garage has 2 single doors and it’s more of an effort to pull in if it’s just for a min. So in these cases I park in driveway and go in thru garage.

But longer than that, and I park in garage. For us, a few reasons
-I have forgotten the car was in the driveway and have left it unlocked and the garage door up before.
-My purse stays in the back seat floor, when I’m home, so fearful someone would break In.
-The garage door entrance is always unlocked, And closer to the driveway vs walking around to front door.
-Pulling into garage I don’t have to talk to my neighbors.

Pre kids yes. After kids never.

But we did not have a shed.

Our Odyssey fits in the garage but there is zero margin of error (mirrors graze the sides as you pull in, bumper almost touches front to back) so only our sedan is parked in the garage regularly. The other half of the garage holds bikes, mower, generator, sports equipment and extra fridge.

Yes both cars in the garage when they are home except for quick turn around between errands. We have tons of stuff in our garage too. I hate our new neighbors for never parking either of their cars in the garage and parking on the effing street right behind our driveway. Their garage is mostly empty. Why bother moving to the burbs if you don't partake of the conveniences?

Usually no.. we're in the burbs so no break-in issues. DHs F-150 is a tight fit. Between garden tools, saws and workshop stuff, and regular storage it gets a bit tight. If we lived somewhere cold or snowy maybe we'd make more of an effort.

Both cars always in the garage. Hard to maneuver if one is parked in driveway.

And garage is oversized with a work area and ample storage. We also have a shed under the deck.

We always keep both cars in the garage. It's a tight squeeze along with bicycles and yard gear, but it's worth it to not have to scrape the windshield in the winter, or carry groceries in the rain. If I'm home for only an hour, then I don't see any reason to park in the garage unless I didn't want someone to know I was home. (I've done this when I see the witnesses walking the neighborhood.)

I park in the garage every night, but if I return home knowing I am going out again I generally will keep the car in the driveway, unless it’s raining, freezing, etc.

I always parked in it. Until 1 year ago. Both cars in, even when I had a half ton Suburba. Fast forward DH has two motorcycle with side cars! College aged kids now home with their cars. Plus garage became their storage. I hate not being able to park inside.

It’s an extremely tight squeeze to get both of our cars in the garage, so I’d never go for it if I’m just home for an hour between errands. We have a turnaround bump out in our driveway so I’d just park there. We always put the cars away in the garage at night since we live in the city.

Yes, both vehicles. Mine is in all the time since I rarely drive. My husband will leave his truck out until dark because we mostly use that one but if we're not going to the store or whatever he parks it in. All we have in the garage is a full wall unit for his tools and a chest freezer. All other things go in the backyard shed.
