Dear District Business Owners,
If your business experienced any damage over the last several days and you need plywood or help boarding up your storefront, we are here to help. To request assistance from DCRA, please email dcra.abatement@dc.gov.
In your email, please include the name of your business, its location, a brief description of the damage and what you need help with, along with contact information. Our abatement teams will work with you to secure your property, or help connect you with a licensed contractor for more complex repair work.
Damaged businesses are also encouraged to reach out to their local Business Improvement District (BID), a list of which are provided here:

Yet downtown and elsewhere the cops are not enforcing the curfew against the protestors, who surely will be followed by the looters.
Bowser is an embarrassing joke.

Do you mean to tell me that a city that doesn’t enforce even basic traffic laws, underreports shootings (not attempted murder, it’s disturbing the peace!), allows entire neighborhoods to be covered in litter, decriminalized fair evasion on Metro, and has said the police will expressly not stop packs of ATV riders from terrorizing and severely injuring pedestrians won’t enforce a curfew? Who could have predicted this?!
Ha. Good point.
But seriously, are we just going to abandon all brick and mortar establishments and have complete anarchy? How will this ever end? Will they just move on to houses once all the stores are empty?
Which is why this liberal Democrat went to the 2nd MPD District today and applied for a concealed carry permit.

So does this mean that I can go on my evening run through leafy Woodley Park?
I read somewhere that essential activities are excluded—so you can jog, walk a dog, etc. I actually went for a jog last night after the curfew along a major street in my quiet EOTP neighbourhood, and even waved to a police car—it was fine.

I just drove through upper NW, plenty people, out walking, cycling, and driving. Which is fine.
They are not the target audience for the curfew. It’s more the looters and thugs.
