Wrong. I like IKEA - won't go so far as love. But I also happen to know they have this nifty tool called 'online order'.

I mean 3 hours of lining up for an IKEA...people are crazy.

Someone might think you’re crazy for staying bunkered down in your home.


DP Yes, but is it worth getting sick over it? This is what is holding me back from going to restaurants. Is that one meal with it? For me, no.

Totally different country, experiencing a totally different set of restrictions from covid, probably even sells different products from ikeas in the US. Not sure why this is a discussion topic with everything happening.

Because it is literally impossible to get anything from them online. They charge your card and that’s the last you hear from them. You call their customer service (which I have done almost every day for a month) and get a message essentially saying ‘we can’t take your call. Try again another time.’ It’s piss poor customer service.

Rough napkin math - each of the long lines has 20 family groups in it - there's 8 of those lines plus 3 shorter lines with about 6 family groups a piece.

Counting each family group as 1 with an extra 50 kids to avg the number of small bodies I see = roughly 250 people in line.

Conclusion - the line is big.

I do love their meatballs, both meat and vegetarian versions.

However, I don't stand in line for anything. I'm lazy like that, and have no sense of commitment.
