Now I’m crying.

I am doing the best I can in my day-to-day life by being a good person and not being a racist. Have no desire to start hand-wringing and being depressed and hopeless because that’s not going to benefit anyone but will actively hurt me and my loved ones.

His bond with his mother was so strong that he called out for her even though she had died two years earlier.
Seeing his beautiful children yesterday had me sobbing. His ex, with whom he co-parented his daughter, was so eloquent in her grief.
There is just so much pain and I feel like I’m not doing enough to help change things.

Gun accidents are a fact of life. You immediately increase your risk of dying from a gunshot when you buy a gun.
I’m sorry you’re just starting to realize this stuff.
