I'm so sorry OP, that sucks.

I just wanted to add that I found out today my 9w pregnancy is a blighted ovum. I've been bleeding and cramping like a bad period for the last 2 or 3 days. My OB wants to take consecutive hcg levels before scheduling a D&C, even though it's clear from the u/s there is no baby.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had a D&C and spotted/bled for six weeks. It was awful mentally. It then just went away.

I think you need a new OB.

I know. She thinks I worry too much. I have an ultrasound scheduled for Tuesday. I’m just surprised, i I expected more blood and clots.

You have an ultrasound scheduled, so you’re not being ignored. Try your very best to stay calm. There is the possibility that you are worrying too much. This is highly emotional for you. I’m sorry.

They are all different. I’ve had 3 before 9 weeks.
The most violent was at 5w5d, ended in ER for a hemorrhage and got me by surprise because I had clotting and bleeding for a day, nothing for 2 days then out of nowhere started going thru 2 pads an hour. My OB at this time was also dismissive and when I look back especially so because my HCG was stuch at 95 for weeks and she shrugged it off. Could have potentially been ectopic or molar.

The 6.5 week was like a normal period except the period after was brutal.

The 7 week was lots of cramping but mostly only a few hours of intense “clotting” then was spotting for several weeks.

Good luck OP, get a new OB!

You may need a blood test and not necessarily an ultrasound. Also, not everyone has clots.
