Some clubs do send "no" emails and some do not. Some coaches within a club will send no emails and some will not. Some coaches say this is when I am sending invites, and assume people will get it if they do not get one. These above are for more traditional try outs or invites back........not saying they are good.......just the way it is often done.

For kids working out with a team, I agree that usually the coach has a discussion with the kid (and usually parents but as they get older that is not always the case). If the player is invited back multiple times I would like to think a coach would inform them if they were taking a spot, though that might not be reality.

OP, Giving the benefit of the doubt is first step, but if your DD is a returning player this is unprofessional.
