Im so sure this was not typed by a teacher but by a teacher-hating parent who doesn’t think they desire shit except a pay cut.
Teachers are not this ungrateful. They go ga-ga over thank you letters from students.
Amazon gift cards can be emailed. So can many others like Chipotle (if you know the teacher likes it). I believe Starbucks can be emailed as well.
Email them to the teacher’s school email.

Sure and so do some parents, not sure why we have to go through this every year. This year it seems inappropriate, if you are teaching you are alive, well, and getting a pay check and hundreds are not! If an individual wants to send an under $20 giftcard then they can go ahead but as most teachers seem to be saying they are nothing elaborate or donate to those in need. No shade!

Actually, no. It’s not cheap. Teacher here ... the best gift a parent can give a teacher is a respectful child who has been taught to value his or her education.

Teachers are employed hundreds of DCP parents are out of work, bring joy to a family at your school and send them a gift card instead! No one knows how next year will be, what teachers have remained, etc and yes teachers deserve to be recognized but not financially necessary, even if coming from place of love, at this time!

As a DC employee I cannot accept a gift over $20.
I have returned gifts in the past.
You can buy a book for the room, class pizza party (next year), help me laminate things ect. But I won’t accept your gifts. It’s not appropriate.
