I have two in my entry — one small and one 5x8. They fit in the washing machine at the same time, so I think the 8x10 would be fine. I can vacuum it with my Dyson on the low setting, I just have to be careful around the edges. I don’t find it that hard to replace, you just have to line the corners up carefully at the start.

As for looks, I think you have to be careful what pattern you choose. I think the “faded” Persian designs look the best, because they’re supposed to be faded and they look good, even without a lot of pile. I think the brighter patterns look more like they’re just printed on.

FWIW, I bought the ruggables to replace some antique Persian rugs that were getting trashed by my dogs, so it’s not that I don’t know quality. They’re a good solution for specific situations.

I love ours and we have a dyson. We do have a large-capacity washing machine though.

21:46 here. I'm still loving both rugs that I purchased! In fact, I got one each for my siblings who also love it. We've had no problems that others have been having with vacuuming or getting them aligned with the backing. They're not "fine" rugs but, for us, have been very good value. I've got one at the front door and it's been washed at least every 2 weeks. It's faded and a little dingy looking now but at the price point it is, it's been better than what I expected. And, every rug we've had in front of the door has turned dingy and worn at some point. The rug in the living room still looks fabulous but has only been washed 3 times.

If you think what you've got is poor quality - like it's shrunk and won't fit on the backing any more - contact the company. Give them a chance to make it right.

These rugs suck. You can’t vacuum them and the absolute worst part is trying to line it up correctly and apply it to the backing. It’s ridiculous. Then when you wash it, it shrinks a little each time- so guess what happens? Now the backing is too big for the rug and has to be cut! The corners curl- it’s just a total piece of crap, except for the designs. I love the designs, but hate the product. I can’t believe no one is talking about how frustrating it is to assemble this rug to it’s backing!?!

I have one that I think they discontinued. It's a faux flokati style. I love it! It's a 6x9 and it fits just fine in my washer.

I also have a patterned flat one and while it's not as nice looking, it's way better than having no rug at all.

I'm the PP with the small rug in front of my kitchen sink. It's a 3x5 and I can wash it. I would NOT get one with white in it bc the white areas look grungy and I can't get them clean again.

If you get one, don't recommend one with any white in it unless it's in an area that will never get dirty.

I have a small ruggable in my kitchen in front of the sink. I'm not that impressed. It's a small size so I can wash it but it still looks grungy and stains don't come out. It's hard to reposition and get it stuck back down flat to the anchor thing underneath. I don't have a problem vacuuming it though.

I would only buy it for a small area like in front of a kitchen sink or in a high traffic area not suitable for a regular rug. I would NOT buy a large room size ruggable.

I wanted to bump this thread to give an update on a 3X5 rug I purchased in August and a 6x9 I purchased in September. I have to say that I'm loving them because, I believe, I have reasonable expectations. These are not high quality woven rugs. The design is printed on them and the material is very thin (how else would you fit it into your washer?) and will wear more quickly than a woven rug. Still, they're soft, attractive and easy to wash.

I've already washed both a couple of time (we have dogs and teenagers) and have had no problems getting them back in place and have experienced no curling. The 3x5 rug is in front of the front door - it's the first thing you step on when you walk into our house. It still looks really good and if I can get a year from it, I'll be really happy.

Coupons are frequently available (right now they have a Black Friday coupon for 20% off) and I think they're a good value. I've purchased a few 3x5 rugs for family members as well and they've really liked them - and if they didn't, they would definitely tell me.

I've had my 8x10 for a week. I've vacuumed it every day using a shark cordless and it has been fine but I have furniture on it so that may help keep it from getting sucked up. It looks and feels nicer than I expected. I am used to thinner, flat rugs so no adjustment there

I have been looking at them and from the reviews I’ve read, they are good for high traffic areas, but provide very little/no pile and the larger sizes are difficult to pick up/reposition after washing. I am thinking of getting a hall runner for our mudroom, as it seems they are most suited for entry/runners/kitchen
