I’d contact elite nanny agencies in Boston, NYC, and DC and let them know you’re looking to be a private educational consultant and nanny to families with kids who need summer instruction even leading into fall.
You would require separate housing paid for by the family for you plus your two kids. But you must be willing to travel wherever they go. I think you could request a salary of $75,000 - $120,000 easily if you were able to work as the family’s nanny as well as educational lead.
The people making this kind of money are single. Rich families are paying for the flexibility as much as educational background. Do you speak a foreign language, OP? If not, that ship has sailed.
Op here- another point. I do speak 4 languages.....

LOL
Sailed? Its barely begun. People were clueless ninnies who thought this would be over in 2-4 weeks. Now families are signing year-long rentals in Connecticut and Massachusetts rentals.
They know the schools aren't going to be back in session for at least 3 months and I honestly think the people who are hoping for a fall in-person classes are delusional.
Parents limped along trying to tutor and watch their kids for the spring.
Summer that is all over. People are fed up and they can't send the kids anywhere still.
Its the best time to get into the market and with parents being recalled to work already -- the demand is even greater.
