If the guy is rich he will live in a nice neighborhood and hang out with rich people just like other rich people.

This isn't a bad point. We really liked the GC who worked on our house, but I know from our conversations that he and his family, and likely most of his friends, are Trump supporters/2nd Amendment supporters, and while we got along just fine in a business relationship, we'd have no interest in being friends with them in real life. And I have voted for Republican presidential candidates (not Trump) and we own guns, so I'm not a total far left liberal or anything, but I just know certain people and I will not be close friends.

Interesting, didn’t factor that. However, A good man has good friends and possibly family (can’t choose them).

There is a huge shortage of men working in the trades pretty much nationally. Most young teen males don't want to go into the trades. Young teen males all want to be gaming designers.

Those in the trades that I know have a pretty high work ethic and are generally happy with how they make their living. I know many "professional people" that are miserable on their jobs and counting the years until retirement.

My G.C. was a smart guy. His Dad was a highly acclaimed medical doctor. He worked in remodeling until he passed his General Contractors exam. Have you ever seen the material covered on the General Contractors exam? My contractor had a 4' section of books from his contractor exam cram course. It is a pretty difficult exam.
