That might true, but they might have a dog that really can't be left alone. Perhaps he howls or becomes destructive or pees in the house. Or maybe they're just making it up because they don't want to go out and it has nothing to do with the dog, who knows?
Nooo this isn’t the case . We could care less and we have lots of friends. It’s just weird .
I agree with PP. You are obviously upset and started this thread because you're upset. It's okay to be upset. Maybe your next step should be to figure out why.
OP here. No I’m not upset! It’s not like we were bffs. It’s just so annoying how people treat their animals. Also, they have been hinting like crazy to be able to bring their dog to my home for dinner parties. I can only imagine how that would go!! Watching her suck face with the dog all night long under the dinner table while feeding it my filet mignon. Ugh![]()

Anonymous wrote:The only people I know that are like this don't have children. They are more obsessed with their animals than anyone I know with children. And yes, they won't be social much because they are constantly worried about leaving their dogs. They even chose jobs with staggered hours so that one of them is always home with the dogs. It seems f'ng nuts to me, but to each their own I guess.
Anonymous wrote:They annoy you, because the reason they love animals so much is that animals don't have inconvenient opinions that clash with theirs. Most of the real animal lovers I know don't like people. They can't handle the give and take.

No, but they poop and pee in public places if you let them, which isn't good for the environment.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Pets are environmentally irresponsible.
Why? Do they drive cars and take airplanes?
