Conor looks totally wrong to me. I think everyone will spell it incorrectly OR ask to doublecheck it's spelled correctly, all the time. It will be a huge pain. Also, it just looks like "Cone-or" to me.

Also, re: Connor, makes me just think of Connor from Succession now.

This name is so overused.

If you are from Ireland, I say Conor.
If you are from America, I say Connor.

But really do what you like.

I have a Haley-- the name of a million spellings, and her spelling is not the most popular one. It's sometimes misspelled but it's not some major PITA.

I am someone who always prefers the most efficient spelling of things. So we named our daughter Yuna instead of Yoonah. But since it’s not a Western name people don’t have an inclination for one or the other. Here in the US if you spell it Conor you’ll have to be prepared that it will usually be misspelled with 2 N’s.

I’m Allison, which of course some people insist should be spelled Alison and I also grew up with Allyson, Alyson and Alicyn all in my grade. Like Katherine/Catherine/Kathryn and a million others names everyone will have an opinion and plenty of people will misspell it so just go with what feels natural to you.

american common spelling is connor, in US conor with one n will look like a typo. either way this name is way overdone and should have peaked 5 yrs ago at this point. sorry.

I prefer one 'n' (Irish American) but I have to say after scrolling through this thread and seeing it repeated so many times, neither spelling looks like a real word anymore.
