NP here. I thought we only need to lock down to flatten the curve. Hospitals are getting better capacity-wise. That should be in good shape soon.

The economy can't take being closed much longer, or we'll have much worse problems to deal with.

The spread is in the nursing homes and the people who work in them, many of whom live in tight quarters amongst other essential workers. Get the nursing homes under control and the outbreaks will sharply decrease.


I am against shaming, but you're wrong. 3 families on my little street have been socializing all through the stay-at-home period, and some have parents that going in to work every day. I've seen parties and gatherings while walking my dog in my Bethesda neighborhood.

This is how the virus spreads, PP. Your comment shows how little you understand about it. Nursing homes are infected because workers LIVE IN THEIR COMMUNITY, and exactly like my neighbors, live their lives among people who do not take enough care.
