But super awesome for your that you don't have these worries, but maybe keep that to yourself because you sound like a jackass.
Keeping telling yourself this. We actually don't have a lot of money. It's a pontoon we got for $4 grand. And we work a lot. No trust fund babies here.
But our mindset will not be one of getting the least out of the summer, like so many moms of the DCUM.
Life is Beautiful!
Cringe-worthy!
I actually agree with your underlying premise, OP -- that it makes sense to think about what we can safely do in order to make the best out of a bad situation. But your post is truly cringeworthy, smug and tone-deaf.

Good plan, op. Everyone can do this.

pretty funny, given all the wealth of the DCUM.
We make about 80 grand a year.
Point is, even with that meager amount, our mindset is one of making a fun summer for our kids.
Not a locked down, fearful, don't leave the house one.
There's a lot you can do in the great outdoors if you let go of the tunnelvision of fear.
So, no one else is doing a fun summer for their kid?
Yep, no fun here. I’m just going to watch CNN and worry. And also ruin my child’s summer.
I bought a water table for the back yard.
