It's strange that it varies by store so much.
Thanks to everyone who jumped on me, DCUM going strong in times of Covid, lol.

Contact Amazon, get reimbursed.
Why should Amazon pay for Ops negligence in not retrieving their delivery?
They never rang the doorbell.
They aren't supposed to ring the doorbell anymore (no contact). They send a photo instead.
I get deliveries from P Street 2-3 times per week and have never had a photo of a delivery. I get a text and then an email for customer service feedback. Also they don't ring the doorbell.
Anonymous wrote:When I looked at the status of my WF order recently, I figured that when the driver is on their way with the order, there is a map that shows exactly where their car is at any given moment. It also says if your order is next to drop off or there are additional stops on the driver’s way.

They always text send you emails multiple times before just drop it off. Did you ignore those?
Not OP, but for the last month, none of our Amazon grocery deliveries have texted me. The very first time I got like 4 texts right when the guy dropped stuff off, but not since then. They also don’t email until about 20 min. after the delivery.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:OP here. I called our local store to let them know but didn't want to identify the order because I don't want the delivery person to get fired. This way they can make a general announcement. I didn't ask for a refund. Would have been nice if they rang the doorbell, though!
Make a general announcement about what? An order being stolen from a doorstep after they delivered it??
