Question for Pipeline people: Are you seeing a shift in players from Amour to Pipeline?
Do you really need to ask? If you are on a DA team and the DA is dissolved, leaving you on a team that plays in a much weaker league do you stay or move to ECNL with your home club? There is no benefit to doing GA.
The leagues is essentially the same, outside of the Penn Fusion swap with Ukrainian (very good club). It's a wash in this region. Nice try though.
Clearly you don’t have a grasp on reality. FCV is the only strong club in the DA. ECNL NE has PDA, World Class, FC Stars, Bethesda, Pipeline, MetroFit, etc. Just stop. The GA is not on the same level as the ECNL. Again, how can the league have the same level of teams as ECNL when the best teams in the DA left for the ECNL?

1 FCV (GA)
2 McLean (ECNL)
3 Bethesda / Pipeline tie (ECNL)
4 Maryland United (ECNL)
5 Arlington (GA)
6 VDA/Loudoun/BRYC tie (ECNL)
7 Metro U. (GA)
So kind of a tossup. A lot more ECNL teams than GA teams in the area. I think four years from now FCV will slip to near bottom while Loudoun moves up to top 4 and either BRYC or MU will merge or no longer be in the elite leagues. Rest stay about the same.
Varies too much year to year to make a list like this. Try telling a group of U-14 or U-16 parents that McLean is #2 and you would get laughed out of the room.

The ECNL is the most dominate club nationally and locally. Again, of the top ECNL clubs which left for the DA, only several prominent clubs did not come back and those were FCV and Lonestar. I am 100% certain that if FCV and Lonestar could return, they would. Locally, Pipeline was added to ECNL, which means that BA likely lost its top players, which were mostly Pipeline affiliated players.
I just don't understand how the GA is expected to be anything more than a B league. If the best clubs before DA were in ECNL and now all but two are still in the DA in addition to a few other clubs, how is the GA even on par with the ECNL.
The league will be competitive but it is definitely 2nd tier. And I expect that once team get back on the field, you will start to see girls leave the GA for ECNL. The GA is the result of desperate club leaders trying to remain relevant after the DA collapse.

Yes, and that is why this trolling thread was created, because this what secure adults do.
