Prior poster, what preschool in VA? We are in DC now but may look for a space in VA if we can find one and we feel comfortable with precautions being taken. More VA daycares/preschools seem likely to reopen sooner than those in DC.

I believe VA daycares that remained open had to be willing to accept new registrations from essential worker families and adhere to the new guidelines for class size.

Ours never closed and we have been paying the whole time. Will not send DS back until we absolutely have to.

Many daycares simply don’t want to be open to wipe your kids’ noses right now given we are in a pandemic.

Daycare and school are phase 2 in me with accommodations for social distancing requirements

Business as usual school is phase 3

If daycares lose some kids, probably will make it easier for them to do business in Phase 2.
