This. It’s shocking to me how many people think they can just not show up at their job or not send their kid into school and there will be no consequences.
Quit your job and homeschool your kid if you’re that concerned. That’s really the only option.

I'm the OP and of course my question is not whether people plan to violate the law. Resourceful DCUMers are perfectly capable of clearing the regulatory hurdles.
