I know that there are a lot of moving parts, but ACT should at least say what the current thinking is (cancel, move locations, delay?) and a date that decision will be made. Having our kids in a holding pattern, and still doling out $ for tutoring is maddening.

Us, too. I posted earlier in this thread. Kid was initially signed up to take it at an FCPS site.


DCPS is not opening school facilities to administer the ACT. They may not open in the fall.

UMD is in PG County, which has the greatest infection rate in the area. . . strange choice. Of course, maybe large university setting will allow for more distancing.

Yes, the original test location was a Fairfax County Public School (FCPS).

Different poster. I received notice 4/14 that my DC’s June ACT was moved from FCPS to Waldorf, Maryland.

I'm curious too. The ACT website indicates they'd be emailing May 26 about changes.
