You can’t smoke in your car but dc cops don’t seem to enforce this.

There is a DUI law for marijuana, but no way to test for it right now. Kind of a loop hole.

I've mentioned this before but lots of storefronts in Colorado that were empty for years after the last recession became booming dispensaries and their economy really took off after legalization.

- the law was passed with the intent to stop marijuana distribution in the District.

She said she would write me a prescription but that it would be useless because there are no dispensaries in Virginia. I am one of the few (apparently) people who have literally never tried marijuana. I would have no idea where to go, what to buy, etc. I’m hoping Virginia quickly moves from decriminalization to legalization. People like me would pump a lot of money into the economy. I would much rather use a plant that we know is safe over the drugs I take now.

It’s very quick just a check of ID and they are always running great specials. Customer service is really great IMO. The way it is done is that you buy an accessory (pen, pipe, etc,) and you get the weed for free.
You must have a DC address though, right?

Funny thing about the "spirit of the law": it only goes one way. If you have violated the letter of the law, a prosecutor or judge can decide you didn't violate the spirit and give you leniency. However, if you complied with the letter of the law they can't prosecute you anyway, you complied with the law.
