It is PP. My ex is Hispanic and one of the reasons we broke up was his idea of discipline involved what I consider physical abuse. It is common for parents to hit the kids. I teach students whose parents discipline that way.

I know the Hispanic culture (I know not all) is big into corporal punishment. I was in Texas last year and witness it a lot in public just during the short time I was visiting.

That’s so sad. I don’t think I could live there with people who had that attitude toward women and children. I realize culture plays a big part but omg it would depress me to no end to witness this especially since they think they’re doing the right thing.
