Alcoholics make up 10% of drinkers but consume over 50% of alcohol sold.

Alcoholics are the only addicts that are at high risk of death going through withdrawl without medical help.

Many alcoholics die in jail.

Do you want the ER's overrun with alcoholics in withdrawl?

Can't them hoard a little? As an exception.

All responsible countries banned alcohol sales.

Naturally, religious gatherings should be banned as well.

Agree.

Well, you don't usually have more than 10 people in a liquor store at one time. Hopefully they are also doing pick up or carry out. You can't have all the people in NJ detoxing at once.

Some religious groups think they are special and exempt and can cause plagues to spread. Its not a good look. Looking at you evangelical megachurches and super conservative Jews.

People just won't tolerate the lockdown indefinitely. If you're high-risk, stay home. If not, protect yourself appropriately. And keep boosting your immunity.

Governor Phil Murphy said access to liquor is essential to mental health, but visiting your place of worship is not, regardless of maintaining whatever distance.

Shocking!

He actually charged the 15 Jewish people. Unbelievable.

As well he should. The people of NJ are fortunate that their governor doesn’t kowtow to religious groups like Cuomo does.

Democrat NJ Governor Murphy apparently is planning on keeping NJ on lockdown into July.

Poverty, depression, alcoholism, and suicide will kill more people than covid-19.

Maybe if people would follow the directives and STAY THE EFF HOME, this would end sooner.

Or you can simply protect yourself.

It doesn’t work that way. Especially for healthcare workers.

Many liquor stores also sell food items and may be the only store in a neighborhood.

Also, alcoholics can't just dry up on a whim... then you have angry people stuck at home, taking it out on their families.

But ANY religious organization can live stream their service on Facebook.

So.. close all the rest? All those that are located like fifteen feet of the Safeway stores.

Alcohol is one of the tried and worked methods of running nations.
