You're just full of prejudice, aren't you, OP.

Don't worry. I'm sure at some point in your life Catholics will do something egregious and you'll have a field day!

Oh jeez. I'm not anti-Catholic.

It was a question borne from all the coverage of churches being open. You all are so defensive. I would be saying the same thing about mosques if a major Muslim holiday were coming up.

Other than a few wackos, pretty much all churches have closed.

Maybe there are a few states without restrictions yet? If churches are still open, people will go, just like they go to Home Depot or for coffee or to any place. If they aren't explicitly told not to, people who are allowed to attend - will.

Stop. You wouldn't have added in words like "inexcusable" if you didn't want to diss Christians.

You're not looking good, OP.

The churches staying open are not Catholic, so why are you blaming the Pope?

Even the Pope will be live streaming instead:

So good on the Catholics.

Now what about the other denominations?

Our non-denominational church canceled everything in person until further notice. Every church in the area I know of did the same thing. A few churches in other areas held services that got news coverage and suddenly we are all lumped together.

It's worth the question, given that we're in a pandemic.

Us Jews will stay home for Passover (all the synagogues I know of have gone to totally virtual services anyway) but I've heard nothing from the Pope. It's inexcusable that he hasn't come out and urged Catholics to stay home and access virtual masses.

The Catholic Church closed all it’s churches and has forbidden any public masses. What more could they do?

Catholics aren't the only ones who celebrate Easter ...

No but they are the only ones who have mass or listen to the Pope.

If you want to ask about Protestant and Orthodox churches, you should probably not blame the Pope for their behavior.

They’re the ones pp mentioned...

Can you answer the question? It applies to Christians in general.

No. More just terrified, given the packed churches we've all been seeing.

All been seeing where?

Given how some of the hotspots seem to have started in Orthodox communities that ignored the warnings, your targeting of Catholics and claiming that Jews would not do the same seems odd.

The Orthodox communities should be ashamed of themselves.

The churches have been packed in multiple areas of this country. Have you not seen the articles?

Not at all. I would've said the same thing about anyone who hasn't shown leadership. Trump is inexcusable. Hogan is inexcusable for not mandating that religious services be virtual.
