Um no they won’t. Not everyone in DC is a basket case. Everyone will not have trauma. It’s a really long summer break. My kid is as happy as a clam.

I don’t think every kid in DC is a basketcase. I’m more worried about the ‘happy as a clam’ kids who will come back & resist any structure/routines ect.
And yes- some kids will be very upset. Don’t you want someone with them- so the DC happy kids can press on?
