No gym or shirtless pics. Those get skipped over as I assume the guy is not looking for anything serious.

No professional or posed pictures. Just a nice picture where you are groomed and doing something you enjoy.

I picked my guys picture because he was with his dog and he looked genuinely relaxed and happy not trying too hard.

Women here - Yes, I avoid them. I even bother myself reading their profiles. And I hate gym selfies.

I would definitely include a head shot.

But do NOT wear sunglasses and do not use a professional photographer.
Do not filter either because you will appear that you are not very confident w/your looks or that you may be hiding something.

I think you should be 200% authentic from the get go.
That way you are not hiding your true self w/anyone so when you do meet in person, there are no surprises.

Good luck to you!

I vote you use a photo wearing Gucci sunglasses, Armani suit, Louis Vuitton shoes with the Eiffel Tower in the background.

I have such a photo. Except I am wearing an ascot with my Armani suit.

DP. It seemed like self-deprecating humor to me.

It was (or at least it was an attempt at it). It would have been funnier if I would have a photo so you could compare it to Jason Statham's photo.

I wonder if he ever wishes he was a tax attorney.

Meant to add- any guy that mentions yoga or meditation or obsessive type activities (eg ultra marathons, long distance cycling) are major turn offs in my circle of friends.

Huh, so what should I think about the numerous women who do those things?

DP. My MO is, avoid anybody who seems obsessive unless you're into the same things.

I hooked up with the woman pictured with Jason (in the link above) and she said that tax attorneys were way hotter than action film stars.

Ok, no you're just a tool. No more advice for you.

NP and +1. Don't do this if you want a serious relationship. Worst is the bathroom mirror selfie! Those say you're desperate, but you don't have any friends to take pics of you shirtless in your bathing suit on the beach (not that that's a whole lot better).

I’d avoid those women with obsessive type activities and your preference but IMHO a yoga/mediation can appear new age/hippieish and anyone who lists it in a 3 sentence profile should be avoided. It’s not whether anyone does them, it’s whether they highlight it.

Sounds like good advice. Thanks.
