Thanks Attorney Anonymous. But the real questions are, (1) is Mass "essential," and (2) can you stay 6 feet away from people? The answer to (2) is clearly "yes". Don't know where states and the District have come down on #1.
So, for example, landscaping is apparently OK, even though cutting my grass and spreading mulch don't seem particularly essential (termite control is more arguable).
Let's see how states and the District come down on this, instead of paying attention to haters like PP.
Where in the federal guidance or state law does it say "stay home unless you can stay 6 feet away from people then go where you want".
It does not. It says stay home. Rationalize it how you want, but defending non-compliance STILL proves you are a sociopath.

It was pointed out that this practice goes against guidance and law in place for the benefit of all society.
Standing by the sociopath statement. Not sure who is who but if you posted then you know who I am referring to. You also know in your deep conscience that I am right and you should change.
Have a good day.
Somebody above pointed out that there are no bans on driving around in your car. That's not the same as mingling with people.
Have a good day yourself--maybe picking the wings off flies, that seems right up your alley.

No, you are 100% incorrect. The federal guidance and state law doesn't say "stay home or in your car" it says "stay home". So yes driving somewhere non-essential is a violation of both. This is not debatable, nor a matter of opinion.
As for your "wings off flies" comment - yet another one that says tons about you.

Do you get off on slapping the wrists of anonymous internet strangers?
Just the sociopaths.

The federal guidance is to not leave your home unless necessary. The state law is the same. To ignore both of those is what makes you a bad person. To gleefully politicize not conforming to guidance and law is what makes you a sociopath.

Wow, that says a lot about you that you put your anger and ideology over the health of every else as well as the law.
You are a bad person. And I say that sincerely. No one thinks they are a bad person, but some are, and you are one of them. You should feel great shame.
NP. That was obviously a rueful a joke about all the atheist trolling (you?) that goes on here—grow a funny bone.
Add “that you think this is all funny” to the list of things that make you a bad person. People are dying. I bet we all know people who are sick. Seriously, you need to take an objective look at yourself. You can change if you want. You can be a better person.

No.

Northam made his announcement shortly after Hogan, imploring residents not to leave their homes unless absolutely necessary.
“I want to be clear: Do not go out unless you need to go out. This is very different than wanting to go out,” Northam said.
Bowser issued the order later on Monday afternoon, saying, "Our message remains the same: stay home."
She added that residents who violate the order may be guilty of a misdemeanor.
Genuine question: does VA take a position on taking drives in your car, whether through Rock Creek Park or to mass?
