Some places I take my kids; school parking lot, high schools mostly, to ride bikes around the empty parking lots. We take toy construction trucks and go to baseball fields. They play in the dirt that is on the field. Walking trails we know throughout the community we live in, to the point that they don’t have names so I couldn’t even tell you. Open fields with kites, balls and bubbles. We make sure to drive a bit far to these places to past some time.

NP. I get we’re supporting each other, but PP has a point that if she shares her trails, they will become popular and she will lose her ability to enjoy them without crowds. That said, she could have just refrained from responding, so in my opinion your eye roll is justified for that!

I agree with PPs who said to go either early or late in the day.

My bad. You were referring to Claude Moore Park in Loudoun County; I was referring to Claude Moore Colonial Farm site in Fairfax County, which is closed. Forgot there is a Loudoun park with the same name.
