I have and he just says he can’t multi-task like me and the kids want me anyways (which is true). This dynamic has existed since DCs were born and I decided that rather than resenting DH, I’d just hire help. It’s worked...until now...where help cannot come.
Oh, hell no. Make up a schedule and stick to it. When it's his turn, go to a room and close and lock the door. He's on duty.

Seriously, am I just super aggressive? I would be going in there to confront, and not just silently stewing all day and then politely bringing it up at dinner, only to have him refuse. We are a team, we are equal partners who both work full time. If he wanted someone who happily stuck to traditional gender roles, that's who he should have married and asked to SAH.

I work from home and default parent, but my kid is 10 so doesn't require a lot of supervision.
But I have been spending ridiculous amount of time helping set up for online learning and get into routine of sending assignments. I also help with questions about the material.
I refreshed my knowledge about ancient Greece and learnt how to write Haikus.
Also, I have to supervise DC to make sure she does not watch TV all day. I have to make meals and clean the house.
DH is on conference calls dawn till dusk.
It's getting annoying.
But I have been spending ridiculous amount of time helping set up for online learning and get into routine of sending assignments. I also help with questions about the material.

Somewhat. DH is essential, but can WFH, so he is in the basement feverishly working while I'm also expected to WFH full-time. I make less than he does, but not that much less. My boss keeps putting me on all these COVID-19 related work teams, which has considerably added to my workload.
The first week I dealt with it, and then I let DH have it and insisted he take the kids for a good chunk each day. So far, so good, but now he thinks he is doing the same as I am and he's really, really not.
