But she was homeschooled and has certificates that give her less than an associate's degree. She's obsessed with her dead father. She LIVES at the zoo. Literally. I'm honestly relieved she wore a wedding dress instead of that khaki crap she and her brother are always wearing. She never travels anywhere without her mother. I hope she goes on a honeymoon.
It's lovely to keep your dead parent's memory alive and be close with family. But you NEVER see this very public girl with any similarly aged girlfriends. The whole thing is just weird as hell.
The also got married at the zoo. Her brother was in her engagement photos and apparently gave her away.
Weird little family but they do a lot for Australia wildlife so I guess...keep it going.
Right? Her whole life is the zoo and her family. I'm not saying your career, your passion and family aren't important, but there should be some balance.
Lots of people don’t have that balance. We see it with celebs and entertainers all the time.
Umm and they turn out nuts. Look at Britney Spears. Her father and sons are fighting for control of her and she’s like a toy yanked between them.
Bindi Irwin is pretty much the complete opposite of Britney Spears.
How so?
Seriously.
They’re both managed by overbearing parents.
They’ve both been performing since a young age.
They’ve both headlined in entertainment with demanding roles.
They both have not had a formal education. Not sure either has a GED or Aussie equivalent.
They both have/had intense pressure to support the livelihoods of many others - Britney = all the dancers, management, tour staff that relied on her for income and Bindi = an entire zoo
Britney by the way had the breakdown that had her put into conservatorship at 25. 3 years after marrying at 22. 2 years after giving birth at 23.
Not everyone needs or wants a "formal education". Bindi did some business certs at something like a community college. I'd say that's all she needed.
Britney is totally different. She was DESPERATE to be famous at any cost. Her parents were PSYCHO (which is probably connected). That's nothing like Bindi. She doesn't have any actual talent. Someone just picked her, a very average wannabe popstar, and made her famous. That's part of her appeal - girls think they can be like her, and guys think they can get her.
On the other side, listen to Bindi reading her father's eulogy that she wrote herself (her own idea) at 8 years old:
Does she sound uneducated and tortured??
These are people that genuinely love animals. They see the fame as a way to help the animals. That's all.
Britney is totally different. She wanted to have all the guys in the world thinking she's sexy, and she wanted the money and fame for herself. Hell, she's even got songs about those things. It's honestly mind blowing that you want to compare them.

She's 21!
Damn. And they've been together how long again?
Obviously her mother is supporting this -- but I'm not sure what the rush is.[/quote]
np I read that the mom asked her to wait until 21 at least. I think she wanted to marry at 19! At this point, the mom "supports" her because she wants to be in her life but, how much would she prefer that she waited? I'm sure she does but, just guessing like everyone else.

Wow, nasty much?
She's had more life experience than most people twice her age. And although she was homeschooled, she's got a great "hands-on" business education also she's also travelled all over the world promoting their shows, the zoo, and Australia. She's well prepared for life.
She was never going to be a rocket scientist or a lawyer. She loves what she does and she's very good at it. They make enough money and she looks happy. Why do you think you have the right to judge her?
1. Everyone has the right to judge everyone else.
2. When you put yourself in the public eye, you open yourself up to judgment.

Their children will be sooo cute!!
