We go outside with our baby daily for walks, usually to the National Mall. Haven’t been towards the monuments (assume that would be more crowded) but over towards the capitol. It’s super easy to stay 6 feet away from everyone at all times - not a lot of people out, big wide sidewalks. Today I think we’ll take a blanket and picnic on the grass.
We live in an 800 sq ft apartment - we need air and exercise, and as long as we are always 6 ft away from others, I don’t see the risk.

Well ventilated areas with few other people are fine.
My neighbors are out and about, walking and biking. It's very easy to maintain a safe distance. It's different than cities and towns in Europe.

This is what I wonder. My husband won't let me go outside, but I don't see how I can catch/spread it if I'm not around other people. We live in rural Mississippi now, so call me stupid, but I just don't understand the risk.
I’m from Mississippi. I just returned from a trip to visit family. I wish I could have stayed. Our family land is in the middle of nowhere up in northeast Mississippi. I felt completely safe while I was there. There is COVID in Mississippi. I would just avoid the larger cities. Jackson and the suburbs around it seem to have the most cases. There is a cluster of cases around Poplarville as well.
