Without testing we are going to be in lockdown until a vaccine is available. Because if we go out of lockdown in May acting the same as February, the virus will recur.

The only way for us to return to normal this summer will be massive testing and contact tracing. The administration screwed the pooch in Feb/Mar so now we need to pay the price with two months of lockdown.

Because you would then notify those around you and they would also shelter in home. There are plenty of people sheltering today who may not have been a week ago. There are plenty of active people still, like firefighters and grocery clerks. There is a difference beteren socisl distancing and absolutely not leaving your home, which you should do if exposed. But how would you know?
