A dear friend of mine is an RN in Baltimore and this is their biggest concern. An epidemic sweeping through the homeless, transient and/or addicted residents will overwhelm the system, even if no one else were to require hospitalization.
Right. And what do you think will happen when there is no ventilator for your mom because they are treating the street addict instead? That’s when the social sh#% will truly hit the fan.
