So, then it depends on the baby.

I stand by the assertion that it’s okay if and only if the baby can be worn in a carrier. If the baby is going to be crawling or toddling around it’s not appropriate.

Of course, but that doesn’t give the parent carte blanche to bring along other siblings or family members.

If your baby will happily stay in a wearable carrier, yes.

If you expect them to clear out a spot for your baby to crawl a round, then absolutely not. Decline. The 4 year olds will be running around all over the place and the hosts will be busy with the party.
