IVF 1 = OHSS
IVF2 = didn't respond ( over corrected)
IVF3= got 8 embryos..had to wait a month then transferred frozen embryo and preg
IVF4= transfered frozen, preg, miscarraige
IVF5= transferred frozen and preg
IVF 6= transferred frozen embryo and not preg
IVF 7= transferred frozen and preg

started age 31 and last baby born age 38

PP here. Basically my story except I had my OE naturally and quickly conceived child at 40.

I'm at 5. 43. No luck.

Ages 37-39 - 5 cycles and no PGS normal embryos out of 5 blasts. Moving on to donor egg I think. I have one OE child naturally (and quickly) conceived at age 36. Things went downhill fast apparently.

At 34 we did 3 IVF cycles with no luck, still undecided about donor. DOR and poor responder with mild male infertility.

IVF 1: high stims, antagonist protocol - 4 retrieved, 0 blasts.
IVF 2: Lupron flare - converted to IUI for poor response
IVF 3: mini stims, letrozole flare - 3 retrieved, 2 day 3's transferred, BFN and 3rd arrested

At 42 yrs old:
3 IVF cycles.
1st and 2d - 2 BFNs.
Changed meds between 2d and 3rd.
3rd - live birth (DD)

At 44 yrs old:
FET from 3rd IVF cycle - live birth (DS)

I feel incredibly lucky after seeing what other women have gone through.

3 IVF cycles to get DS. 5 more IVF cycles to get DD. Ug, how exhausting, all consuming and expensive - but totally worth it.

Everything was out of pocket and we easily spent $100k. I remember thinking, how can we afford this but looking back I'm so glad we scraped the bottom of the bucket to make it happen.

Two cycles. 15 total eggs retrieved, 8 blasts, two PGS normals, first transfer was successful

1. OE. 42 yo. Singleton, 1 embryo transferred.

Note, OP, that some people count each FET as a “cycle.”
