Our child went from private school to LAB 3 years ago and it has been incredible for our child after near daily tutoring was still not enough. Unfortunately due to changes in circumstances, we will not be able to sustain the tuition. We are willing to spend the money on legal fees to give it a try before thinking of a plan B. I appreciate the support. I know we all our trying to give our kids - especially those who learn differently the best we can. I hope our society will one day offer public education options that can properly support our kids - not just accommodate them.
You will be hard pressed to "win" a case suing DCPS for Lab school tuition without having been enrolled in a DCPS. Part the of case that people make is that DCPS failed their child.
If I read this correctly (?)
