I had a white boy in the NICU. Their systems seem to develop later than others and they seem a bit more fragile. Saying they do the worst sounds pretty dire.
Ok, try this. Black girls do the best in the NICU. White boys do the least best of all. (I also had a WWB in the NICU)

South Asian female- period at age 11 but physically did not start ‘filling out’ until high school.
