I hate clamshell suitcases. There never is anywhere good to put them in a hotel. And I am not unpacking for a night or two. But so hard to access both sides.

+1 It is so hard to not correct people in real life about this multiple times per day, including my kid's language arts teacher this morning.

I always had soft but changed to hard. Hard is way better. I like packing it more with the two sides.
