As for cost, it could vary dramatically based on whether your opening can use standard doors or if you need custom ones. Also, some of the above seem to be exterior doors that have been used for an interior opening. If you go that route, it could be very expensive. I'm getting prices on 5 panel exterior sliding/folding doors (non-impact rated) similar to some of those shown above and the bids are $13,000 to $20,000 (not including installation).

You could add roman shades for light/sound buffering or just look for a more solid option.

I was just about to come on here to post this as something I like, but I think I like what you added even better, as it seems to sit flush against the wall taking up even less space that these would folded. Also, thanks to the PPs for the photo sharing tutorials Does anyone have experience with doors like these? Also still interested in what the cost of installation would be. Again, the area does have ventilation, it's own light sockets and light switch. Thanks again!
