Your not a fan or aficionado so yeah...all sounds the same. Applies to everyone regarding every music genre they don't like. Heard the same complaint about rock (all sounds the same), country (all sounds the same), pop (all sounds the same), rap (all sounds the same), folk (all sounds the same), jazz (all sounds the same)...list goes on and on. You're not stating anything particularly grounded in fact my friend.
Sorry to strike a nerve there snowflake. You don't need to be an "aficionado" (self annotated in your case) to hear beats and rhythm.
Upon further research I've answered my own question as to why all Go Go sounds the same. It seems a quick google search of Basic/Essential go-go beat/Chuck Brown has satisfied my curiosity far greater than a self proclaimed "aficionado" could do.
You didn't strike a nerve you exposed your ignorance. Those who are familiar can definitely tell the difference between bands and songs. You're not one of those who are familiar so - you're ignorant of the nuances in tempo, tone, fervor, and flow. It's okay. Nobody's asking you to like it.
It does all pretty much sound the same. And I use to love the Go Go hour on WKYS.

How many tax dollars do you think will be spent voting that something becomes the official something of DC? Did you have this same issue when the scarlet oak became DC’s official tree?
DP. That's pretty stupid as well. When does it end? The offical insect? The official potted plant? The official grass?
Pretty sure there are lots of states and cities that have these. So?
It's a waste of time there as well. It would be fine if it were limited. But once this starts, everyone wants to get his or her whatever "honored" by the city.

Do you like mumbo sauce?
Lived here 35 years and only started hearing about it from millennials maybe ten years ago.
It's not a thing. DC keeps trying to legislate it away from Chicago.

And I am sorry. This is factual. Mumbo sauce did not originated in DC. Go ahead, report this post again.
What's that got to do with go-go?
