Your husband has 50% of the power to parent.
It's unimportant if his 50% bothers you.

Husband and father here. I definitely would never think this is normal. If my wife treated me like that, she wouldn't be my wife.

I think it's a fairly common dynamic in our area, which is populated by a disproportionate number of Type A people (including women) and men who are more likely to be genuinely and enthusiastically involved with their children.

So you get this eager dad and anxious, micromanaging mom whose perspective is further clouded by post-partum hormones and things can get toxic in a hurry unless both parties practice some mindfulness.

Note that OP came on here and said she wants HELP.

Many have provided unvarnished opinions which are not in concert with her perspective.

Many of the responses here are spot-on and mirror what I posted previously.

However, OP has "reported" every one of those posts (because I was mean) and had them removed.
