I don’t have an aversion to alcohol but I can attest to an aversion to hangovers. After 40 (or probably more like 35) hangovers were much worse and much more of an inconvenience. I just started to realize that as much fun as I had the night before, it just wasn’t worth it.

Now if I have more than two not spaced out appropriately, I’ll be hungover the next day. Given that I have two kids who have sports/activities on the weekends AND I enjoy spending time with, I don’t want to feel crappy. happened to me too. I feel much better clear eyed and not groggy (how I did feel after 2 drinks or 3).
