OP here - same. Still a ton of SPAM in junk (which I don't get with my gmail that I use for volunteer purposes) but at least it's in the right folder.

I just wanted to post to say you are not alone. It’s happening to my hotmail account too. I was thinking of trying to set up my own filter to move all the spam myself.
