V series Rear Wheel drive is the best. Pick one up slightly used. Very low key but crazy fast

I have been driving RWD cars for the past 20 years and have not had issues with the little bit of snow that we get here. I am a car guy and enjoy driving sports cars and sports sedans that handle well so RWD is a priority. I use these cars all year round so bought high performance all weather tires to get me home in inclement weather.

With that being said, sadly the Chrysler 300 is not a performance sedan and the RWD doesn’t really add to the driving experience. If you went American the Charger and Challenger are options as well as the BMW 3 and 5 series. The Mazda 3 and 6 are FWD but are still fun to drive.

I own a Cadillac CTS rear wheel drive. I love it, cost less, better MPG and more vroom when I floor it.

I'm glad a few people on here understand this stuff...

I had a RWD Volvo for 6 years in Vermont and Buffalo. I had snow tires. I went skiing all the time.

I would get an AWD car. I had two RWD cars followed by two AWD. The AWD cars gave me additional assurances in the winter.

These days the AWD cars are available that are ultra high performance.

You don’t want a fwd based awd. Get a Dodge Charger AWD. It’s a decent family car.
