Unless they can do that for everyone, that just makes it more unfair.
It said they were doing it for everyone who registered but could not get the payment in (which was the issue until the whole site shut down).
Funny how they just posted on Facebook that they haven't sent out any emails tonight because they are still working on a solution.
Well, I have received a few emails from them today based on questions I sent them after having trouble getting the credit card to process.

Mixed reviews as camps go.
They have weekly sessions which people like.
There are a few other threads on this subject.
I think it depends on the kid - I have three and the all have loved it for years. Still going even though middle/high school age. It's definitely not for everyone but I think it's awesome. Your kid better like to get dirty and be stuck in some crazy and physically challenging situations. It sounds like being Huck Finn on the river to me

Anonymous wrote:That was a sh!t show. I spent an hour on the computer trying and failing to register. Who knows whether I'll be able to be online at whatever random time they decide to reopen registration or if any spots will be open for what we want.

They obviously use a developer who does not know how to write code to run on multiple processors...or they are on a totally crappy web host. Granted...this is a tough one from a technical perspective so grant them some slack. But, really, this happens twice a year, every year. Figure it out.
To the new camper - the stuff that fills up tends to be the higher level things - Greskos, some of the High Adventure camps - the basic Explorers can usually be gotten into. And then you'll be returning and can stress every year with all of us
May also use a backend credit card processing system that is separate from their main web pages, which they have no direct control over. If that processor isn't ready for the volume it will just send errors to the Calleva front end pages. Still entirely foreseeable.
