Okay here's another one. How do you guys say Net a porter? I say Net a portay but have heard many folks also say net a porter. Another pun on pret a porter!

Please don't pronounce the 'n.' It's a nasal "mah-zhay".


Many years of french and I thought it's a soft Jay sound not a zhay sound?

11:21 - YES. If not for the a, I would not pronounce the t. Like you wouldn't pronounce the Ts in merlot or petit verdot.
