This is not true. As with every car manufacturer, there are some lemon models, but Honda (and Acura) is generally very reliable, and right beside Toyota (and Lexus).


Not according to consumer reports. Acura and Honda are mediocre across the board in recent years.


The Acura MDX is actually supposed to fair poorly per consumer reports. Same with the pilot. Everyone just thinks they are great, so they blindly buy them.

My 2019 Odyssey has just been a dream. Love everything about it. Not one thing has gone wrong. But it's only two years old...

That's so interesting.

We have had several minivans, including Hondas Odyseys, with no problems. DH's 2004 was totaled in an accident a few years back with almost 300,000 miles on it and few problems.

We have another other with high miles and have not encountered any issues.

OP do you have the 9 speed transmission?

I wish we had theb7 seat Prius and CRV in the states.

Odyssey is too big for Honda to scale engines and make efficient, hence wonky tranny
