It started with little things, like the windshield wiper motor burning out within 200 miles of purchase, and then got progressively worse. The automatic doors would just bounce open when you shut them. Finally the electrical system fried the radio. Honda would not help because the car was 4 years old at that point. We had to replace motherboard in the radio/sound system and then I traded that thing in for a Sienna. I'll never go back.

This is not true. As with every car manufacturer, there are some lemon models, but Honda (and Acura) is generally very reliable, and right beside Toyota (and Lexus).
Not according to consumer reports. Acura and Honda are mediocre across the board in recent years.
The Acura MDX is actually supposed to fair poorly per consumer reports. Same with the pilot. Everyone just thinks they are great, so they blindly buy them.
