Things to factor in:

DA provides that ECNL does not:
- 4 days of training
- Live training tracking during practice ( for coaches to see "effort" and connections)
- videos distributed / posted of every game
- InStat game results (a significant amount of data - shots on goal, passes, passes completed, runs)
- ZERO parent managers - all professionally managed

Is this a requirement for all DA teams or is this just the case with this particular one?

Except for the live tracking, all dA teams. For example, professional videos are required as part of the DA. This has been amazing for us for college recruitment, but the team also studies footage.

Ecnl clubs tape games too.

The DA tapes all games and they are available almost the next day for anyone to view. ECNL clubs tape but, last year, when we were ECNL, we never saw one! Even with repeated requests.

That sounds like a club problem. Not a league one.

If there is no rule to require the film be shared or a fine is imposed then it is a league problem. Filming a DA game is a requirement of the home team in the same way as having a field and corner flags.

DA, the home team films and provides the film to the visiting team.

ECNL may tape but since it is required they are under no obligation to share the film. SO if your ECNL team wants to make sure they have film for all the games they need to foot the bill for filming all the games.

The DA game videos are very helpful for recruiting. Ours are taken from a 20 foot high pole and the ball is automatically tracked by the camera software. This is helpful in creating professional looking highlight videos to send to college coaches.

Some do, and some don't. It is not a league requirement. Ours didn't.
