OP, we live in the area and DC actually attend Catholic schools in DC. We have friends and neighbors who attend WP and they have good things to say. These kids are often at our home (kids play a lot of sports non the area), and they are all smart, polite, well adjusted teens. Anyone can find their tribe there.

West Potomac serves many needs. Good variety of AP course for those inclined as well as a center for those interested in entering the workforce in a trade right out of high school.

Solid college placement for students and relatively solid sports program. Not perfect, no school is today.
