DA teams can't play in the Jeff Cup because of the format. Until Jeff Cup adds a DA friendly bracket (no more than 2 games in a row), you won't see them. The only exception is the U13 team because that is a pilot age group.
For BRYC, GFR and some others, they must not have applied. Jeff Cup wouldn't have turned them away.
Not talking about the TSJFCV DA teams....but all the other amazing TSJFCV teams at the non-DA age groups....U10, U11, U12, where are they?????

They have the Richmond 08 girls team as number 18 nationally (above Pipeline and BSC), so that would put them in top flight. I haven't looked at more than a handful, but if you are wondering why a team is in a particular flight, check that site and see if it matches up.
Which Richmond girls? What team do you mean?

Isn’t Bethesda part of DMV? Or this meant only for Virginia?

This is generally the problem with the American elite. We are confusing acceptance and placement with accomplishment and development. The brackets will always be a little off. Let’s see how the teams perform in the games they have. Everybody knew last year Alexandria Red boys 08 was the best team in Virginia. They put them in the second bracket. They won their games by a combined score of 22-0. This year, despite remaining the best team in Virginia, the tourney placed them in the third division. Who cares? People still know who is who without looking at brackets if you have seen the teams play. It is unfortunate but inevitable that there isn’t better matching of competitors. But the brackets generally look ok on the boys side. Don’t worry about the placement so much and focus on development and competition on the field. The rest is out of your child’s control.
